Nov. 1st - Mikuni American is the manufacturer of the industry's leading high-performance carburetors for American V-Twin engines, the HSR 42/45/48. Mikuni is also a long time sponsor of the Iron & Lace Custom Motorcycle PinUp Calendar and the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show produced by Jim Gianatsis of Gianatsis Design, the advertising agency for Mikuni 's Aftermarket Carburetor Division. Working with Mikuni Vice President Lee Chapin, Jim has brought back the sexy Mikuni HSR "Explicit Performance Advisory" ad campaign which ran in 2004. It featured Iron & Lace calendar model Andra Cobb sitting behind a Mikuni HSR carb equipped V-Twin engine.
Mikuni is bringing back for its 2008 ad campaign a new "Explicit Performance Advisory" ad photographed by Jim Gianatsis features beautiful FastDates.com Iron & Lace Calendar Kitten Carrie Stroup. Carrie is shown posing with her hands holding a polished Mikuni HSR carburetor and a wrench and screwdriver. The picture is titled "V-Twins Have Fantasies too" suggesting bikers dream about beautiful girls like Carrie, while their bikes dream about the bolt-on performance. Mikuni HSR Carburetors bolt up with simple hand tools to deliver up to a 25% improvement in power and throttle response.
Mikuni plans to have this "HSR Fantasies" ad campaign available as a poster to hand out at major bike events including Cincinnati V-Twin Dealer Show, Daytona, Laughlin, the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show and Sturgis. The Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA July 14-15th, 2007 - The 16th Annual 2007 edition Los Angeles Calendar Motorcycle Show Weekend sponsored by Performance Machine continued to entertain and excite streetbike enthusiasts and the general pubic again this year, as the premier streetbike motorcycle show in America. Produced by Gianatsis Design in partnership with the Queen Mary at the beautiful Queen Mary Event Park alongside the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Long Beach, CA.

November 1st 2007 - FastDates.com Calendar Kitten and upcoming 2008 LA Calendar Bike Show hostess Tiffany Toth, along with producer and photographer Jim Gianatsis had a chance to reunite this fall with two of our top Calendar Builders at the 2007 Bike Show and featured in the 2008 FastDates.com Calendars, to shoot again for the next 2009 Calendars which premier at the july 12-13th 20008 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Weekend.
Jim and Tiffany first got together in the studio with Shinya Kimura and his wife Ayumi to shoot the Excelsior replica Board Track racer shown above, as well as another old bike, a 1947 harley Panhead modified like a racer, too. If you remember, Shinya won Best of Show at the 2004 LA Calendar Motorcycel Show Weekend. For more on Shinya go to ChabottEngineering.com
Then on November 5th, 2007, Jim and Tiffany met with Joe Takai from Mercury Custom to shoot one of his latest custom builds parked alongside the Queen mary in Long Beach, to use in the Iron & Lace calednar and for the 2008 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marketing campaign.
